Information
Iles du Salut were part of a notorious penal colony between 1852 and 1953. The islands are about 11 km
off the coast of French Guiana. It is a beautiful and historic site with the remains of the prison where
the famous Henri Charriere alias Papillion was imprisoned. Iles du Salut consist of 3 islands: Ile du Diable,
Ile Royale and Ile Saint-Joseph. -

14:00hrs to 16:00hrs
